Node install and setup service

I have been helping people now with setting up their own nodes for solo mining for some time and some of the people I have helped have been very generous in their donations for my efforts. I am offering a paid service to install, configure and look after the node until fully synched and ready to sta...

Complete working Ubuntu 17.10 GPU miner setup

Ok, I have had a lot of people ask me about the GPU miner that was built by Guli back in March for ARO. Due to the fact that ARO is designed to be CPU mined, it was decided by the community that the GPU miner be disabled so it's performance was severely reduced. However, people are still asking abou...

Step by Step guide for Linux users wanting to mine using the Java miner

Ok guys, I thought I would write this quick guide for those who have absolutely no knowledge of Linux and would like to have a go at setting up a simple system. Firstly, install Linux onto either a second hard drive if you are confident in dual booting, or find an old computer you don't use any more...

arionum.rocks mining pool

Please feel free to point some cpu's at arionum.rocks. It's a personal pool run by myself and paid for by myself. It works by all hashing power directing towards aropool.com, once 1000 ARO have been earned by arionum.rocks, miners are paid proportionally to the work they have done on the pool. Sprea...

Cloud mining - everything you wanted to know but were afraid to ask

Ok guys, as you well know, the popularity of ARO has increased almost 5 fold within a matter of weeks. We have seen some changes, including a GPU miner, a hard fork and cloud miners on board. There are two ways you can look at cloud miners - 1. They are confident in the ARO project, as it is NOT che...

Getting the most out of your Cloud miners with Java Miner using Linux

Ok guys, at first I didn't like the thought of cloud mining but after a huge burst in hashrate on the server I thought I would give it a go. The 3 main companies that I have used are Amazon AWS, Google Cloud and Oracle cloud. Out of all three, Google is the easiest to use and Oracle is the most comp...

Re: GPU Mining - Information

Just out of interest I tried this miner out, I have voted against GPU mining though as I think CPU is fairer for most people.

Just posting results really - GTX1050 - 533h/s with settings -t 2 -b 32
